Forbes featured Rex in Meet the YC startups betting on what comes next, Daria Shunina's look at Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch.

The article covers founders building everything from diamond semiconductors and biological computers to robots and satellite networks. Rex sits with the companies betting that AI can finally automate industries where traditional software stopped short of doing the work.

That is the thesis we started Rex on. Before founding the company, we worked with more than 100 finance operations teams. We came away convinced that AI would not just make finance teams more productive. It would run entire workflows.

Forbes also picked up where the batch took us. We entered YC focused on order to cash, and customer demand quickly pulled us into procure to pay and other finance processes.
